Privacy Policy

Axon Memory is billed and legally operated by Trading OS ("we", "us"), a company registered in the Netherlands acting as the data controller and contracting entity for the Service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.

1. What We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, and authentication details.
• Memory Data: the information you choose to save into Axon Memory, and content synced from integrations you connect (e.g. Google, GitHub, Notion, Slack).
• Billing data: handled by Stripe, our payment processor; we receive subscription status and limited billing metadata, not full card numbers.
• Usage data: log data, device information, and API usage needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. Why We Process It (Legal Basis)

• To provide the Service you've requested (contract performance).
• To process payments and comply with tax/accounting obligations (legal obligation).
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To send service-related communications; marketing only with your consent.

3. Third-Party Processors

We use the following categories of processors, each bound by data processing agreements:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure (EU region hosting).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and hosting for our website.
• AI providers and integrations you explicitly connect (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub, Notion, Slack), solely to provide the memory context you request.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and Memory Data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your Memory Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority.

6. International Transfers

Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA (for example by an AI provider you connect), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards required under GDPR.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable available account protections.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will post updates here and notify active users of material changes.
